First, I hope you all had the most amazing Thanksgiving! It sure was nice for us to spend it with family this year. This is the first year I actually spent it with Evan’s parents and brother. Only took 11 years; no big deal. We usually spend the holiday with our Air Force family which is always awesome too.
So how did the rest of the week go? Let’s find out.
Sunday, Nov 22nd
Sunday Funday! We spend the afternoon hanging out with the Haleys and the Evans! Good food and good company. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Afterwards, I headed to Starbucks to catch up on my writing. If you missed my post on starting a family again and our struggle, click here.

Happy Thanksgiving! Mom and I took the pups for a walk in the nearby park for a bit. Then we all talked and played a game of Monopoly till the Turkey was ready. Boy did we eat and eat. I always get disgustingly full every year and I don’t even eat much. I always get ill Thanksgiving night from overeating. It’s worth it though.

We took a trip to South Carolina to visit Evan’s Aunt Gail who lives only and hour and a half away. I’ve actually never met her or Evan’s Aunt Jane so it was awesome to finally do so. I didn’t get any family photos, but I know my dad took some. But I did steal this photo from Evan’s cousin Shantel who makes these amazing cupcakes. She knew I was dying to try one and was sweet enough to bring some over. I’m a huge cupcake lover so thank you so much. If you are looking to get some delicious cupcakes or cakes, head over to her Facebook Page!

Caught this on our drive home yesterday in Atlanta. We had some initial car issues heading out but luckily they seem to resolve and we made it home safe. I slept like a baby last night in my own bed. I forget how much I miss my bed when I’m away.
Thanks for reading again guys I hope your week and Thanksgiving were special. Happy Sunday and have a great upcoming week. I see a lot of Christmas decorating in my future. Leave me a comment and let me know where you went and who you spent your Thanksgiving with this year?
