Hello my Angels! How was your week? Are you ready for Christmas? No? Ha, me neither as a matter of fact. The Rents fly in this afternoon to kick off the festivities so I’m pretty excited they are going to be here soon!
Let’s get into my last week shall we?
Sunday, December 13th
After putting up the lights on our own house, we met up with our good friends the Jarvis’s for some Zoo Lights! at the Gulf Breeze Zoo. We didn’t go last year (I didn’t even know about them) so it was a treat to be able to experience it this time around. I definitely needed some holiday cheer in my life. The warm weather, although nice, hasn’t helped make it feel like Christmas. This certainly did the trick! I’m almost certain we will go again this week since I know Evan’s mom, Mary, wants to see them as well.
Monday, December 14th
Just a little TTC update, I got this smiley face on cycle day 9 which is suppose to mean I’m ovulating. Problem is I don’t believe it and here is why. First, it’s too early in my cycle I believe and other things in my body were saying I wasn’t. Second, for two days I got nothing but an empty circle and this test seemed to completely miss my first hormone surge. Either way, I can’t chance it so we just got to doing the deed a bit early than we would have before, no biggy. Happy Smiley Face to me!
Tuesday, December 15th
Wednesday, December 16th
This was the only day I had this week to do some shopping for the Squadron Christmas Party. Although, no dress was to be found, I did find these babies at Ross. I don’t know where or when I will wear them but I’m in love for sure. Swoon.
Thursday, December 17th
Unfortunately, I have no photos from this day. I spend my entire day shopping for items to put in the Training Shop’s raffle basket and helping a friend paint her house. Wamp, Wamp. I shall do better next time. 🙂
Friday, December 18th
Can you say party? OMG, what a great night! It was Evan’s squadron Christmas Party and I’ve never had such a good time at one of these events. This group is a lot of fun. The tequila shots were flowing like water. I haven’t gotten that white girl wasted in a long, long time. BEST. TIME. EVER.
Sunday, December 19th
We followed up the night befores shananigans with the Shuping Annual Christmas Party, PJ style. It was nice after a night of dress up to be able to throw some comfy, pajamas on and just have a night of games and good company. Perfect conclusion to a crazy, busy week!
So, what are your plans for the week ahead? Are you traveling out of town or will you have your Christmas celebration at home? I’d love to hear all about it. I hope you have a very Happy Christmas full of love and warm memories. Until next week Angels, have fun living your divine life!
