Hello my Angels! Happy New Year!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Can you even believe it’s 2016? I think I say this to myself every single year but I truly mean it. I feel like every year goes by faster than the last. I really hope you had an amazing holiday season. Here goes mine. This will be pretty short and sweet, I actually don’t have that many pictures.
So according to my OPK (Ovulation Prediction Kit) I was told I ovulated on cd(cycle date) 9. Since I’m addicted to peeing on things, it seems I wanted to test and see if I actually did ovulate on cd9. I went ahead a bought a cheap dollar store blue dye test and used it. Maybe I’m crazy but I think I see a faint blue line but thankfully I didn’t get excited. Long story short, I’ll never use another test with blue dye as this is a false positive. Lesson learned.
The rents are here, the rents are here! They arrived on Monday and my brother-in-law came on Wednesday. It’s time to get this party started! This is me in the process of making some cut out cookies. We prep all the sweets (fudge, chocolate chip cookies, cut out cookies, peanut butter chocolate balls) 2 days before our Christmas Eve party and the other food (veg pizza, shrimp cocktail, dip, cheese platter, veggie tray, fruit, and the amazing punch) the day of. I don’t have pics from the party unfortunately, but I deem it a success! Great time with friends and family.
Family time on the beach! We went out to have a late lunch by the sea. 30 mins later the fog and rain rolled in but it was beautiful while it lasted. The entire week the weather was miserable. Good thing I had great company around.
Did you catch my NYE blog? Yes, it’s depressing and I’m sorry about that. That’s life sometimes. One thing I won’t do is sugar coat things. Anyway, check it out if you like.
Look at my two cuties! They are literally my reasons for living right now. I love them so much. Don’t know what I would do without them. Evan and I decided to spend NYE with just each other at home. I don’t think we have ever done that before but this year it just felt like the right thing to do. I don’t regret the decision. We cooked, ate, hung out and watched the ball drop in NY on East Coast time and the Pelican for Central time. Goodbye 2015. I loved to say it was the best but it was a bittersweet year at best. Wishing, hoping, praying 2016 is much kinder to us.
So, What are your goals and dreams for 2016? I don’t really believe in resolutions much but I do believe in having attainable goals for your year. I’m sure you can guess mine (duh) but one of my smaller goals is to have my very own vegetable garden.
Have a great week Angels. Catch you next week!
